Nature ("we", "our", or "the app") is a digital wellness application that helps users manage their screen time and build healthier phone habits. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Screen Time Data

Nature uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to help you track app usage and block distracting apps during focus sessions. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Specifically, we do not collect, store, or share:

Which apps you have installed
How much time you spend in specific apps
Your phone pickup count
Any Screen Time usage data

Apple's Screen Time framework uses opaque tokens to identify apps, meaning even our app cannot determine which specific apps you select to block.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service:

Account information: Email address and name (via Clerk authentication) for account management
Focus session data: Session duration, intention text, and reflection scores are stored in our database (Convex) to provide insights and track your progress
App preferences: Your daily goals, selected activities, and notification preferences
Subscription status: Managed through RevenueCat for payment processing

Data Retention

Your account data and focus session history are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Nature is designed for individual use by users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
